Welcome to Sacred Spiral Dance!
I hope that you enjoy visiting Sacred Spiral Dance. My dream
has dreamed herself to Light. She has taught me that Faith
is what nurtures the Dream and it is Love and Courage that
bring it to Life. Shamans would say that we are all Dreamers
– dreaming the same Dream. Within those words are our
infinite potential and a call. Do our lives reflect Love made
visible? The task we have all been called to is to free ourselves
so that we may Dream a new world to Light.
The name Sacred Spiral Dance came to me as a vision - a waking
dream. Sacred Spiral Dance is also a metaphor for living life.
The Sacred Spiral has long been held as a Universal symbol
of Power, Enlightenment, Transformation, and the Divine Mother.
Ancient cultures used the art of the dance to connect to,
commune with, and to honor our Divine Source. The message
within the metaphor is to honor our lives as sacred movement.
My logo is another vision that was brought to life through
the creative talents of my friend, Karen Wood. The original
art piece is titled: She Who Holds
the World in Grace. This face of the Divine Feminine
is the Keeper of Light - strong, gentle, serene, and sure
in her Power. She has been my muse in this Dance. She encourages
us to move in harmony with the rhythms of Life, honor Mother
Earth, and to hold our Power softly so that All may thrive.
